Why iPad Cannot Charge?

  1. Water Damage
  2. MotherBoard Hardware Issue
  3. Battery Faulty
  4. Charging Port Faulty
  5. Charger Faulty
  6. Charging Cable Faulty

Fix and Solution

  1. Check your charging cable: Make sure your charging cable is properly connected to both your iPad and the power adapter. Also, check for any frayed wires or damage to the cable.

  2. Check your power adapter: Make sure your power adapter is properly plugged into the wall and that the outlet is working. Try plugging in another device to the same outlet to see if it’s working.

  3. Restart your iPad: Sometimes, restarting your iPad can help fix charging issues. To restart your iPad, press and hold the Power button until the Slide to Power Off option appears. Slide the bar to the right to turn off your iPad, then press and hold the Power button again to turn it back on.

  4. Clean your charging port: Dirt and debris can sometimes accumulate in your iPad’s charging port, preventing it from charging properly. Try gently cleaning the charging port with a toothbrush or a soft, dry brush.

  5. Check for software updates: Make sure your iPad is running the latest software updates. To check for updates, go to Settings > General > Software Update.

  6. Try a different charging cable or power adapter: If none of the above solutions work, try using a different charging cable or power adapter to see if the problem is with the cable or adapter.

If none of these solutions work, it may be a hardware issue, and you should contact Apple Support or visit IRepair Centre for diagnostic check and repair.
